• Sitting courtside at Madison Square Garden to see Syracuse- North Carolina last Friday night in the Coaches versus Cancer tournament Championship game was definitely something to knock off my bucket list.  The ushers told us we were sitting in Spike Lee’s seats for Knicks games. While the first half of the game was very exciting, the run Syracuse made to begin the second half dampened the mood a little, but the seats were well worth it. • UNC winning at Boston College helped improve my mood in New York last weekend. There was a larger than expected group at the ESPN Zone in Times Square watching the game, too bad is was relegated to one of the smaller televisions. Michigan-Ohio State, understandably were on one big screen, but Iowa-Minnesota on the other?
•  
• The Cowboys beat the Redskins 7-6 last weekend. Score 7 points the week before in Green Bay, yet are 14 point favorites against the Raiders on Thanksgiving Day? Who does this say more/less about?  
•  
• I watched ZERO of the Panthers-Dolphins game last week, but Ricky Williams getting me 34 fantasy points and reading some facebook comments from friends, I think I can see where things happened. Skimming some websites this week, one writer made a comment about how well the Panthers are at running the ball…in a Passing League.
•  
• Rivalry week begins Thursday night with Texas-Texas A&M. The game I am most concerned with is correcting the 41-10 game from last year in Chapel Hill. Many fans seem to be going to Raleigh to see this game. VERY interested in seeing how much blue is at the game Saturday.
•  
• Clemson-South Carolina is another big game..especially for South Carolina. Spurrier has only one win versus the Tigers during his tenure in Columbia.  The people in Columbia do not want to lose yet again to Clemson and if they do, the ol ball coaches seat may begin to get a little warmer in Columbia.
•  
• Florida State-Florida..Last home game for Tim Tebow and possibly last game for Bobby Bowden at FSU?
• Auburn-Alabama..Rivalry games can produce some interesting results...Have a gut that one of these games involving SEC Championship teams could slip this weekend.....         
•  
• Is Charlie Weiss gone from Notre Dame? All signs lead to yes, but hopefully they have someone in place before making that move. While I am not a Notre Dame fan, hopefully they have learned from all the recent debacles in hiring/rescinding/not signing offers made to coaches.
•  
• HOPE EVERYONE HAS A SAFE & HAPPY THANKSGIVING  !!!
